Heidi Farina

Heidi Farina is an ex-ecologist turned landscape artist, based out of Seattle, WA, painting from Summit to Sea.

Her art is based on Pacific Northwest landscapes from Summit to Sea. She grew up in Cleveland, OH where she majored in Fine Art, focusing on Oil Painting and Sculpture. Currently, her work centers around acrylic paint to quickly capture local landscapes.

In University, she and her husband picked up and moved to Wyoming, where she continued to major in Fine Art and Ecology/ Wildlife management. She taught snowboarding at A-Basin in Colorado every weekend during this time. While she ended up in Zoology/ Ecology and genetics as a full time career for 12 years, her love of art continued and meshed well with her love of mountain state ecology, field work, and adventure sports. In the past 12 years she has moved from WY to CA to WA, with mountains and ocean guiding her hobbies and shaping the art she creates today. Washington has been her home for the past decade and the region continues to leave her in awe daily.

Heidi works full time as a fine artist out of her studio in Seattle, WA. Her art can be found in galleries across Washington and sold directly. Her daily art journey can be found on Instagram and Threads @heidifarinaart. Her goal is to share with you some of the most beautiful and remote spots in the region through her art and help foster an appreciation for preserving these sacred places.
