Terry Richardson is a Seattle native who studied photography in the 1990s and subsequently refined her visual and conceptual style through informal studio classes. In 2002, she received her Doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of Washington. Today, Dr. Richardson works predominately with mixed painting mediums, including encaustics, oil and acrylics. Tactile and textural, and influenced by microbiology, her art highlights the beauty that can be found in everyday materials.
